About Shane Tecza
Shane was raised by Christian parents and influenced by Godly Grandparents. He accepted Jesus as his personal savior when he was only ten and started singing in his home church when he was only eight. Shane has been devoted to singing nearly all of his life going into Nursing Homes, Retirement Centers, Festivals and other Churches. Shane was strongly influenced in his music by some of the industries most acclaimed artist. He surrounded himself with the music of Dottie Rambo, Loretta Lynn and Vestal Goodman. He loved listening to The Gaithers and sitting around with his mother and "singing along" to all their music. He always considered himself a country gospel music singer but when he began writing songs he realized they would have a strong air of Southern Gospel or even a hint of Bluegrass. In the last several years Shane has ventured into the Southern Gospel Field.
Since his mother plays the piano and has background training in music, she coached him for years and later he received voice lessons from a vocal coach in Nashville, TN. Having felt the hand of God on his life Shane has devoted his adult life to reaching out to others through his music. You will find that many of his songs have a strong salvation message that will reach right through the bars of a broken life to guide them to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With the anointing of the Lord coming through his songs you will truly be blessed and ministered to as well as uplifted by Shane's positive deliverance through his music. In the last three years Shane has had six of his songs chart in the top 20 on several Christian Country and Bluegrass charts.
Shane completed a new project, “Reflections”, in Nashville in June of 2006 and released a song he wrote “Heavenly Home” with Glory Train Records which went all the way to number 7 on the gospel charts and number 10 on the bluegrass charts. He also released the song “He Rescued Me” from the Reflections CD in Europe with New Christian Music which placed in the top 25 for over 6 weeks. Shane recorded two songs from the Reflections CD, “Good Morning Jesus” and “Jesus Again“, at the Gospel Country Network TV Studios in Nashville and placed them on his DVD. Shane gives all the glory to God and is just happy that his music is being heard and played in areas he is not able to go. He prays that lives and souls are being touched and turned to God. Some other accomplishments are having appeared on PAX TV, singing a Christmas Special on a T.B.N. Affiliate TV station, performing onstage in Nashville, TN as well as showcasing on stage in Branson, MO. Shane has appeared onstage with the Southern Gospel Music Fanfair, in Chattanooga, TN, performed on several stages at Agape Fest in Texas and performed with many award winnings artist across the country. Shane was awarded the NCM Radio Mic award from Europe for Folk Male Artist USA for 2006. He also received the Recitor of The Year Award for 2007 from the Country Gospel Music Association. He has been nominated for New Male Artist, Horizon Male Artist and Male Artist of the Year. He has received two Emerald Awards from RhonBob Promotions for being in the top 10 on two different music charts in the United States.
The thing that means the most to Shane at this time in his life though is the stronger anointing that God has placed on him in the last few years of his ministry. There is a sense of urgency that the coming of our Lord is near, and the most important thing is to take the message of our Lord Jesus to the world. This he is doing with every opportunity he can get, along with the combined ministry team of Shane Tecza and Marilyn Irwin known as “Blood Bought“. The greatest reward is seeing a soul brought into the kingdom, lives changed and people receiving their healing. As Shane says, “this makes all the work worthwhile“.
